Level 1: Minor alteration of an existing building/structure

This proposal is phase 2 of the Promenade restoration project, which previous was reviewed to allow the removal of the green metal roof structure and the repair of the EPDM roof membrane. The work in this phase includes:

1. Grind & seal existing concrete deck.
2. Clean and paint concrete structure. Colors have not been chosen, but will be close to white/very light beige.
3. New L.E.D. lighting in each bay. See sheets A2.2 and A3.1 (detail #1) for location of the lights under the concrete ceiling that will illuminate the Promende walking surface. See sheet A3.1 for the location of downward facing architectural lighting on the top of each concrete column that will illuminate the front of the columns (facing the parking garage).
4. New concrete stairs and guardrails. Existing stairs do not meet code.
5. Run a new drain line below the deck.
