Clean and tuckpoint masonry, including one chimney (interior central), using non-abrasive cleaning methods, low Portland content mortar and matching mortar joints; repair and restore front porch with tongue and groove porch flooring and repaired porch columns and capitals which match original, including stalling lattice on rear porch; repair and restore wood siding and shingles to original appearance, using wood siding and materials similar to original in soze and lap and removing remaining asbestos shingles; install new roof of asphalt shingles that resemble wood shingle roof; install new guttering or repair existing; repair existing windows.

    Buchanan House. Two story frame with wood shingle and wood lap siding under asbestos shingle wall covering. Hip roof with lower cross gables and oversize fishscale pattern covering. Double hung one over one windows, diamond shaped window on first story façade flanking front entry. One story wrap around front nad side porch with round wood columns with Ionic capitals. Two interior offset brick chimneys. Brick foundation. Irregular plan. Recessed transom at front entry.
