APPROVAL of renewal of COA (expired 10/2008) to rebuild the conical roof on the turret, which was destroyed approximately 30 years ago. Rebuild using a historical photo as a guide to match as closely as possible to the original.

Rebuild the conical roof on the turret, which has been missing approximately 30 years. Rebuild using a historical photo (included in this application) as a guide. The structure will be built out of wood. Reinstall metal finial (as closely matched as possible to the original). The roofing of the conical cap will be of cedar shake to match orignal based on photo. This project was part of an application that was approved by HZC in October of 2006; however, the application expired before the roof could be completed.

    Two-story frame with weatherboard and imbricated shingle wall covering. Hip roof with offset cross gables, asphalt shingle covering, cresting with finials. One over one and Queen Anne over one double hung windows. Palladian window in front gable. One story two-thirds front and side wrap porch with metal standing seam roof, asphalt shingled gable, applied cross timbering in porch gable with spherical protrusions and sawn wood panel of applied shamrock pattern, round turned wood columns, turned spindled balustrade, bead board ceiling. Two story rear side porch with turned wood columns, bead board ceiling. One interior offset brick chimney with inset arch and corbelling, one interior rear offset brick chimney. Brick foundation. Irregular plan. Two-story turret with missing roof. Rear porch with turned wood balustrade on second floor, varied sawn wood brackets.
