This house was listed as non-contributing in the Ft. Sanders Designation Report prepared in 2000. At that time, the house had the massing of a Queen Anne Cottage, with a hip with lower cross gable roof covered with asphalt shingles, a partially enclosed, deteriorated two-thirds front porch supported by metal columns with a partially unattached sawn wood balustrade, altered windows, a collapsing foundation, two interior offset brick chimneys with corbelling and a collapsing foundation. Since that time, the house has burned; the fire destroyed the back portion of the house and damaged the structure in the front part of the house, although the damage in front is not apparent from the street.
